Seventh-year Florida Tech head coach Bill Macom has been teaching players of all levels and ages for more than 15 years. He was the 2010 USPTA/Florida College Coach of the Year, 2009 USPTA Melbourne District Pro of the Year and the 2008 USPTA National College Coach of the Year. His women’s teams have advanced to the NCAA tournament for three consecutive years and were ranked in the top 20 nationally for the past two years.

Macom’s goal for the camp is to make sure all players have fun and are focused on improving their skills on a daily basis. All of his instructors have competitive college tennis experience and have been through his staff training program. He holds a U.S. Professional Tennis Association Teaching Certificate (Pro 1 Level).

His playing experience has included a 2003 Florida ranking of eight in the Men’s 35 & Over Division, 2002 Florida ranking of two in the Men’s 30 & Over Division, a 2002 USPTA Florida top five ranking in the Men’s Open Division and a 1999 national ranking of eight in the Men’s 25 and Over Division.
