Florida Tech Cheerleading
The purpose of the Florida Tech Cheerleading team is to promote school spirit by supporting teams during athletic competition, to lead the crowd in cheering for the teams and to provide entertainment to crowds during pep rallies, parades and breaks in athletic competitions.
Cheerleading at Florida Tech is an up-and-coming program. The 2011-12 team surpassed previous years with having men and women (small co-ed) performing collegiate level material at both men's and women's basketball games. Our ultimate goal of Panther cheerleading will be to compete at NCA collegiate nationals in the upcoming years. NEW in 2013, the Florida Tech cheerleaders will be attending all home FOOTBALL games as part of FIT football's inaugural season!
