KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Men’s Soccer) – Florida Tech senior Kalle Mansson and graduate student Naru Wild-Putsorn have been named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-South Region Second Team.
Mansson, an international business administration major, is carrying a 3.53 grade point average through the fall semester. The defender from Malmo, Sweden started the Panthers’ final 11 games of the season after missing the first four due to injury. He scored his first two goals of his collegiate career against 10th-ranked Barry and Christian Brothers. In games he began, the defense posted a 1.22 goals against average.
Wild-Putsorn, a master of business administration major, holds a 3.35 grade point average between his undergraduate and graduate coursework through the fall semester. As a midfielder, the Rayong, Thailand product started 14 games, scoring one goal and passing out three assists. His one goal, the seventh of his career, catapulted FIT to a 1-0 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Sept. 14.
