2010: Solidified the Panther defense by starting 12 of the 13 games he appeared in…recorded 1144 minutes on the backline…fired six shots and hit the target with two.

Previous School: Attended Florida Gulf Coast for one year…redshirted…earned Academic All-Atlantic Sun Conference award.

High School: Attended Abraham Lincoln School in La Romana, Dominican Republic…varsity starter and MVP from 2005-08…helped his team win regional championship from 2005-08…also played baseball, basketball, volleyball and table tennis.

National: Received first international cap as a member of Dominican Republic National Team in October 2008...captained and participated in all CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers for U-20 Dominican Republic National Team in 2008 and 2009...past member of U-17 Dominican Republic National Team.

Club: Played six years for Romana FC.

Personal: Son of Francisco Ubiera and Heidy Torres…goes by Fran or Fiera…goals include graduating from college and playing soccer beyond the college level…enjoys playing sports and relaxing with his friends…favorite sport is soccer and favorite athlete is Gerard Pique…favorite quote is “Impossible is nothing”…likes watching “Green Street Hooligans”…enjoys listening to Dominican rap…would like to visit London, England.
