ORLANDO, Fla. (Men’s and Women’s Swimming) – Florida Tech’s long-awaited wait for the Sunshine State Conference Championship is nearly over as the four-day event will kick off on Wednesday at the Orlando YMCA Aquatic Center. Free live video will be available each day through Saturday by clicking here.

The Panthers last raced one month ago against Rollins at the Panther Aquatic Center. The men and women combined to sweep the Tars for the first time in the program’s three-year history.

The men won all 11 of their events en route to a 122-68 victory. The win ensured them of their first winning season ever at 6-4. The women came out on top in 10 of their 11 events for a 114-85 decision. Their four wins on the season doubled last year’s total.

Day one of the championship will begin with time finals at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, racing will start with prelims at 10 a.m. Finals are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Fans have the option of buying an all-session pass to see all four days of the championship for $45. One-day passes will be sold for $8 at the gate. The Orlando YMCA Aquatic Center is located at 8422 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819.
