WINTER PARK, Fla. (Cross Country) – After a successful weekend for the Florida Tech men’s cross country team at the Embry-Riddle Asics Classic, junior Tyler Subasic earned Sunshine State Conference Male Runner of the Week accolades, announced by the league office Monday.

This marks the first such honor for a Panther this fall. Subasic (Clarks Summit, Pa.) posted a time of 27:50 to finish sixth of 79 runners at the Asics meet. His performance helped propel the Panthers to a second-place finish in an eight-team field.

Next up for Subasic and his Panther teammates is the Walt Disney World Classic on Saturday, Oct. 9.
