Corinne Desrosiers

Head Coach

Corinne Desrosiers was named Florida Tech’s first-ever head women’s lacrosse coach on June 19, 2013. During her third season at the helm in 2016–2017, Desrosiers guided Florida Tech to a magical season, as the Panthers finished with an overall record of 14–4, a 3-1 mark in the Sunshine State Conference and an end of season ranking of No. 6 in the IWLCA DII Poll.

FIT posted five victories over Top-15 opponents during the 2017 season, while all four of its losses came against a Top-5 program. Desrosiers was named the SSC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season and had nine players named to the All-SSC Teams, six selected to the IWLCA All-South Region Teams and two players named IWLCA All-Americans.

FIT earned the 2-seed in the SSC Tournament in 2017, its best seeding in program history, and posted its first ever victory in the tournament over a Top-10 Rollins program to make it to the conference championship game.

As a result of their impressive run during the campaign, the Panthers garnered the program’s first ever berth in the 2017 NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse Championship as the No. 6 seed in the South Region. Florida Tech won its inaugural NCAA Tournament game upsetting No. 3 seed East Stroudsburg by a score of 17-10 before falling to No. 2 seed Florida Southern in the quarterfinals.
