BOCA RATON, Fla. (Volleyball) – On the road for the first time in four games, Florida Tech lost to Lynn, 3-0, Friday evening at the de Hoernle Center. Set scores were 25-17, 25-17 and 25-18.
The Fighting Knights (12-12, 5-6 SSC) held the Panthers (6-19, 2-9 SSC) to 28 kills and a .141 hitting percentage. Janice Valies led FIT in the kills department with seven. Alexis Mastela supplied 23 of the team’s 25 assists, and Ashley Bryant paced the squad with 19 digs. Lynn had three players pound 10 or more kills with Brittany Brown’s 12 ranking first among the Fighting Knights. Brianna Cox added 11 and Gaby Cardoso supplied 10. Brown also had three of Lynn’s five service aces. The Panthers will remain in South Florida to play at Barry Saturday at 4 p.m. Live video will be available at FloridaTechSports.com. |
